WHAT TO EXPECT

Step into my kitchen, sit down at my table and enjoy a hearty meal and good talk. 

For my guesss, a dinner at my kitchen table offers the right pace and atmosphere to unwind from buzzy Amsterdam and running around seeing all the must sees. 

​

A table you will be served with good food, made with honest produce, paired wines and above all, personal attention from chef Caro.

​

The menu ranges on request from our starting menu up to a more lavish Dutch Tasting menu, containing Dutch classic ingrediënts and recipes from Chef Caro's family cook book.

​

After your visit to Amsterdam, Kinderdijk mills or the Anne Frank house, just opposite our little street, you will find my Catering business and studio kitchen. You are very welcome à table to enjoy a tasteful lunch or dinner, a feast for the eyes, mouth and heart. At our table you sit casually and informally. We offer a quiet and friendly environment where you can relax while enjoying your time in Amsterdam and the cozy buzz of a good conversation. We will provide you with tips and if required tell all about our amazing city and quarter.

You will find no amplified music with us. We just love table conversations, from person to person.

​

Please be adviced to book in advance, if possible, since our diary is mostly full up with private dinners, outdoor events and Martitieme cooking on board the Classic Ditch sailing yachts at the Waddensea.

OUR COOKING STYLE AND PRODUCTS

The products we source and use for cooking are of good, and where possible of organic origin. We like to work with seasonal products, local and small growers. In these challenging times for people and the environment, this is not only a wish of us, but also of many of our customers, especially from our overseas guests. Because of minimizing our carbon food print, our prices might be slightly higher than elsewhere. We are happy to pay more for our products so we can serve you a responsible and conscientious dinner. Our wish: Indulge your taste buds!
