CAROKOOKT – PRIVATE DINING TERMS & CONDITIONS (INTERNATIONAL BOOKINGS)

1. Scope
These terms apply to all international bookings for private dining experiences hosted by Carokookt in a private kitchen setting.
By confirming a booking, the client agrees to these terms.
2. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed when:
- The client has approved the offer, and
- Full payment has been received and confirmed by Carokookt
Carokookt reserves the right to refuse a booking or apply specific conditions.
Payments made without prior confirmation do not guarantee a reservation and may be refunded.
3. Pricing
- All prices are quoted in euros (€) and include VAT unless stated otherwise
- Prices may change prior to booking confirmation
- Obvious errors (e.g., typographical mistakes) are not binding
4. Payment Terms (Strict Prepayment Policy)
- All bookings require 100% prepayment
- Payment must be received in Carokookt’s bank account at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled dining time
- A reservation is only considered final once payment has been received and explicitly confirmed by Carokookt
If payment has not been received and confirmed at least 48 hours before the event, the booking will be considered not reserved and will be automatically canceled by Carokookt without further notice.
5. Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation within 24 hours after booking
- Cancellation up to 72 hours (3 days) before the event is allowed
- Cancellations within 72 hours of the event are non-refundable, due to preparation and perishable ingredients
All cancellations must be made via email to info@carokookt.nl.
6. Arrival, Delays & No-Show
- Guests are expected to arrive at the agreed time
- In case of delay, the client must inform Carokookt as soon as possible
- Carokookt will make reasonable efforts to accommodate late arrivals, but this cannot be guaranteed
If the client fails to arrive without prior notice (no-show), or arrives excessively late making the service impractical, the booking will be considered fulfilled and no refund will be issued.
7. Service & Timing
Carokookt aims to deliver services at the agreed time.
In case of unforeseen circumstances, delays may occur. Carokookt will communicate updates directly with the client.
Carokookt is not liable for damages caused by delays beyond reasonable control.
8. Complaints
Any issues must be reported:
- During the service, or
- Within 48 hours after the event
Carokookt will review and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
9. Force Majeure
Carokookt is not liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g., illness, transportation issues, emergencies).
In such cases, Carokookt may reschedule or cancel the booking without liability.
10. Food & Liability
- All dishes are prepared with care and high-quality ingredients
- The client is responsible for communicating allergies or dietary restrictions in advance.
- Carokookt is not liable for undisclosed allergies or dietary requirements
